As part of the "Agenda 4 plus One" future program, there is the "Qualification for Tomorrow" initiative. At the Homburg location, too, the training of junior staff will be further developed. One building block is the project "Social skills in the training project 3D printer". To accompany their apprenticeship, Schaeffler's trainees build their own, individual 3D printer: from the manufacture of individual parts to assembly and commissioning, they learn the relationships between mechanics, electronics, software and hardware. The trainees have to deal with a variety of disciplines and skills and work closely with different professional groups at Schaeffler.
